Introduction
Gazprom is the leading russian company in the world, that exctracts natural gas. According to Wikipidia.org (2008) Gazprom accounts about 93 percent of natural gas production. In addition it controls 16 percent of the world`s gas reserves. It is headquatered in Moscow, Russia and its CEO is Alexei Miller. It was originally founded in 1989 and now it is stated to be one of the most successful corporations in the world. Gazprom is focused on production, transmission, storage, processing, geological exploration and marketing of gas. Its mission is to efficiently provide natural gas to russian customers and implement long-term exporting contracts (gazprom.com). Moreover, it is stated on Gazprom. Com that this corporation owns the biggest transmission system in the world, it is called the Unified Gas Supply System of Russia, and it is stretching for 156.9 thousand kilometres. Gazprom exports its natural gas to 32 countries and is still trying to improve this number and find more international partners. However, this report will give information about the nature of global strategy of this organization, through analyzing its coverage of innovation, marketing, operations, HRM and finance. Global Strategy
As it was mentioned before, the main business strategy for Gazprom, is to provide a balanced gas supply to Russian Consumers and to be one of the most reliable companies in implementing intergovermental agreements for gas exports.
