Essays 
For my essays I read Women’s History and  Setting  the Table
     Both of these essays are expository because they are not based on opinion or fiction, 
but are focused on laying out the facts of the topic.
     The essay setting the table uses a space order organization type. In space 
organization location is described as the essay points out where to put plates, flowers, 
glasses, etc. I would have to say that the Lucy Stone essay is written in the topic form. 
Essays like this are usually written in the chronological form, however this particular 
essay they talked about a lot of her achievements before stating where she was born, or 
other aspects of her life.  
     In Setting the Table, using space order organization keeps the separate topic in an easy 
to follow format. It starts with the basis of covering the table and moves completely 
through to setting the entire table. It's easy to follow and understand, which is important 
and effective when giving directions. An informative process could have been used, but 
in my opinion would not have been as effective.  On the other hand, the Lucy Stone essay 
uses the informative process very well, putting Lucy's entire history in a short, easily 
digestible form. They could have used the time order process just as effectively, but it 
wouldn't have been as entertaining to read.
     These essays are alike in that they attempt to explain the topics from the beginning to 
the end, providing additional info about specific sections along the way. They are
