In this paper, it is explored an internationalization process among two economies from the BRICs. In fact, it will be described the internationalization process of Embraco; a Brazilian company; focusing its internationalization to China. This process began a long time ago, in 1995, and it is considered a successful case.
In the article will be highlighted all the key phases of internationalization strategies and how to succeed in a new market with lack development of many institutional aspects (even poorer developed than in the home land – China x Brazil).
