Assignment 1 - Select a country. You must choose a country other than the United
States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, or Ireland. Be sure that the
Country you select is not an English speaking one. Research it to determine what a U.S. firm must do to manage workers in that country. Assume the employees are native to your chosen country. You are NOT managing U.S. workers in a foreign country. You are looking at managing a foreign workforce given the laws of that country. Discuss this in a 4 - 5 page paper. Be sure to identify the pros and cons of doing business in that country as a result of laws and regulations affecting human resources. You may find useful information on government web sites like the State Department or the US Trade Representative or you may look at Embassy web pages. Be creative with your web site choices.
