    Nathaniel and Heather Thompson were married on December 10, 2006, and separated March 26, 2007.  The marriage lasted only three months.  They do not have an extensive amount of real or personal community property.  Should the community property be distributed evenly?  Nathaniel is the plaintiff and has requested that Heather get nothing except the things she has brought in.  Nathaniel also paid around $7,000 of Heathers debt off during the marriage. Nathaniel wants it to be paid back.  Heather and her lawyer got a hold of Nathaniel and tried to settle a deal over the phone.  When the deal was faxed to Nathaniel he never responded.  Heathers  lawyer tried several times to get a hold of Nathaniel and there was no response, also Nathaniel did not show up to a court date on November 7, 2007.  Nathaniel claims he could not afford a lawyer at the time of the court date and that the agreement over the phone for the settlement was not what was on the paper that was sent to him to sign, so he chose not to sign it until he had a lawyer to explain to him what it said.  Heather petitioned a motion to exclude the request for her to pay back the $7,000, because Nathaniel was not responding.  She also requested for the settlement trial to be accelerated.  Nathaniel asks that the trial be postponed so he can gather enough information to prove that Heather had brought no real property into the marriage only debt that he paid off for her.  Heather requested attorney fees because Nathaniel has refused to respond which is why she petitioned a motion to exclude and Nathaniel did not show up for the last court d ...
