Abstract

    The Walt Disney Corporation is a company that is known throughout the world for its communication practices among its employees and guests. When discussing the Disney Corporation’s organizational behavior and culture, it must be viewed in a geographical perspective to take into account all the different management and leadership styles involved in this organization. This paper will discuss all of the Walt Disney Corporation’s organizational cultures including: ethical standards and behavior; communication practices; observable organizational policies; dress and language (jargon); organizational diversity; artifacts, symbols, and stories; and the technology impact on culture. So come along and take a closer look into Disney’s organizational culture and behavior.

Introduction
    The Walt Disney Company is a well known company, not only in the United States, but in the global markets. With theme parks and resorts in foreign countries, Disney has become a household name globally. When discussing the company’s organizational behavior it varies in its culture depending on its geographical perspective.
In this paper the researchers will discuss the American organizational behavior and culture and its effects on Disney. The focuses of this paper are: ethical standards and behavior for Disney; communication practices; observable organizational policies; dress and language (jargon); organizational diversity; artifacts, symbols, and stories; and the technology impact on culture.
