I. Executive Summary
Green Goose Farms-specialty plant nursery will be located at 2300 W. Copeland Dr. in Powell, TN. We will provide specialty plants, seeds and merchandise geared toward several niche and emerging markets. We plan to offer organic, open-pollinated, heirloom, non-genetically modified, and standard seeds, plants, trees, and shrubs. We will also offer “green” lawn and garden technology to include solar, battery, human, and electrically powered mowers, tillers, hand tools, blowers, trimmers, etc. The services that we will provide includes premium, organic herbs to be sold to local restaurants and grocers done by contract and individually managed. Custom grown annual and perennial plants for local landscaping and internet/catalog customers will be included.
Being a company that is literally rooted in the earth, we believe that we have a duty to protect it. Stating such, we will strive to be pollutant free in regards to our run-off, waste and air emissions. We believe that there is a growing market for “green” products and we strive to lead the way with our unique niche.
