1.0 Executive Summary

Just about everyone could explain what an iPod is and its functions. The I-Hear is the latest variation of the well known iPod. It is the MP3 player but it is designed for the next generation. It does not have a screen and is not equipped with the well known name of Apple but the I-Hear have many features that will not only make listening a greater experience, but it will make lives easier. It is small in size (1.25 X 1.05 X 0.3; with a frequency range of 20 Hz- 20 KHz) but big on performance. The I-Hear is designed to fit comfortably inside the canal of the ear while the body rest conveniently behind the ear. It is equipped with many features will make it stand out form all other previous, similar products. Because of the great features packed into this device, we believe that the price of 299.99 is very suitable. Once the I-Hear makes its debut and consumers see the convenience, sleek and discrete look, and the eye catching design, this introductory price will not seem as expensive. Also with this price, we will be able to pay all fixed and variable costs that go along with owning and running a business and a profit can and will be made. The product will be located at the most popular of retailers such as Best buy, Circuit City, Fry’s Electronics, Radio Shack, Wal-Mart*, and Target*. Based on the market research on Apple’s iPod, we decided that Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry’s Electronics, and Radio Shack are the best retailers to carry the I-Hear because of the service and knowledge of product that the associates had of the products.
