6. Management’s Growth

Best Buy started out here in America and has steadily grown to Canada, China, and Europe. They are now looking to open a 2nd store in China and are currently building a strong customer base in Mexico as well as Turkey. Best buy is also looking to move Geek Squad into Europe seeing as how it has been such a success in the states.

Since 1966, Best Buy has looked to be the front-runners in consumer technology, they have achieved this by good working business models, customer service, keeping the newest products, and doing all this at a reasonable price to the consumer. They are looking to expand their lead to many different people and places foreign and domestic, they feel that their newest offering in customer service, the Reward Zone, has grown well and will be a program customers get to know and trust.

Best Buy is excited to offer it’s newest mobile phone line, which it feels will be a success, just as many of it’s own exclusive brands such as Dynex or it’s extremely popular Geek Squad brand. They are constantly trying to track customer needs in order to meet them, trying to find new and innovative ways to offer the newest products at the best price.

Best Buy is constantly attempting to constantly utilize all of it’s employees strengths and ideas, with a constantly changing and growing workforce, of about 150,000 employees, this has become increasingly difficult. But each store is working to create an environment where every persons contribution is appreciated and well received....
