This paper will present Baderman Island’s enterprise technology solution, and attempt to explain how the presented enterprise-wide solution will create value for the organization’s e-commerce marketplace. In addition, this author will explain how Baderman Island’s prototyping efforts will aid in improving the new system development as well as identify the project’s activities involved implementing the new technology. Enterprise Technology Solution for Baderman Island
Enterprise technology solutions tightly integrate hardware, software, and services to address enterprise-wide issues that are not only of strategic importance to Baderman Island’s businesses, but also affect their data centers and networking environments. The following proposed solution sets will aid Baderman Island to assess their current environments, and then design, deploy, and manage the next generation integrated infrastructure to help them maximize the value of their IT infrastructure.
As proposed by Nygren (2008), there are three technologies that align with Baderman Island’s business strategy: (1) customer relationship management, (2) enterprise resource planning, and (3) enterprise collaborative systems. These three technologies not only offer cross-functional elements, but also will enable Baderman Island to extend their business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer e-commerce opportunities (O’Brien, 2003).
