Anova

There were many lessons learned and tools used to assist Praxidike Systems with implementing competency changes and other quality management issues the company has experienced. As the Quality Assurance Manager, I was able to research and test various variables needed or not needed to better customer satisfaction and productivity, I have listed these variables below.
One lesson learned is the Krusal-Wallis test is used when it is difficult to meet all the assumptions of ANOVA. The three major assumptions of ANOVA are the errors are random and independent of each other, each population has a normal distribution, and all the populations have the same variance. In regard to the simulation, deciding to use the Kruskal-Wallis test to analyze whether the means of the number of lines of codes written per day is equal across three different competencies-high, medium, and low. However, the decision to reject the null hypothesis was not a good decision. Lesson two learned was the chi-square critical value is used for comparison in the Kruskal-Wallis test. In this case, the calculated H test statistic is greater than the chi-square critical value, which means the test statistics lies outside the acceptance area. The third lesson learned was the purpose of blocking. The purpose of blocking is to allow me to see a treatment effect with a smaller sample. When setting up a block, matching the variable with two or more factors is needed.
