This is a follow up letter from our previous meeting about implementing affirmative action within this business. The Equal Employment Opportunity is available to make sure that people who are denied employment are not being denied due to their race or gender or any other reason that is unlawful. Affirmative action was created to ensure people are not hired or denied employment based on race and gender. Affirmative action is a policy that goes beyond equal employment opportunity by requiring organizations to comply with the law and correct past discriminatory practices by increasing the numbers of minorities and women in specific positions. By implementing affirmative action within this business the company will be able to correct any discriminatory issues that may have taken place in the past. Please take the time to read over the recommendations for this business. The information will contain supporting recommendations and points that may be used against this recommendation as well as how the affirmative action policy relates to the equal employment opportunity law.
